Save money with the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)grant

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV - Formerly OLEV), is a government department that exists to promote the adoption of zero emission vehicles. Their Electric Vehicle Workplace Charging Scheme grant makes government funding available to businesses to reduce the cost of their EV charging solutions. The eligibility criteria and amount of money available is different depending on the type of business. We’ve broken this down into three categories below to make it simple.

If you’re a residential landlord that doesn't own the properties through a business, click here to learn about the Homecharge Scheme Grant. Your tenant will need to apply for the grant themselves.

How do I apply for the grant?

You fill out a simple application. Your installer will discount the final invoice for the value of the grant, and claim it back later using the reference number from your application. This way you aren’t out of pocket whilst waiting for the grant to be paid.
